How do I use the invoice generator?
Enter your business name (with autocomplete), upload an optional logo, add client details, input items with quantities and prices. The tool auto-calculates everything. Click 'Generate PDF Invoice' to download. Your data is automatically saved for future use.
Does it automatically calculate totals and taxes?
Yes! The invoice generator auto-calculates item totals, subtotals, individual item taxes (per line), total tax amount, discounts (percentage or fixed), and grand total in real-time as you type. No manual calculations needed.
Can I save businesses and clients for reuse?
Absolutely! The tool automatically saves all businesses and clients you enter with full details (name, email, phone, address). Use autocomplete to quickly select saved entries. Manage, edit, or delete saved data anytime via the 'Manage Data' button.
How does the business logo feature work?
Upload your business logo (up to 500KB) and it's automatically saved with that specific business. When you select a business from autocomplete, its logo loads automatically. The logo appears centered at the top of your PDF invoices with proper aspect ratio.
What currencies are supported?
The invoice generator supports 150+ world currencies including USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), JPY (¥), INR (₹), AED, SAR, ZAR, BRL, CAD, AUD, CNY (¥), THB (฿), SGD, MYR, and many more. Your currency preference is automatically saved.
Can I view my invoice history?
Yes! Click the 'History' button to see your last 50 invoices with full details. You can load any previous invoice to reuse or modify it, or delete individual invoices. The history includes invoice numbers, dates, clients, and amounts.
Does the item autocomplete remember descriptions and prices?
Yes! As you add items, the tool saves descriptions with their prices (up to 50 items). When you type an item description, autocomplete suggests saved items with prices. Select one to auto-fill both description and price instantly.
Is my invoice data stored or uploaded anywhere?
No! The invoice generator works entirely in your browser using localStorage. No data is uploaded to any server. Your business info, client details, logos, and invoice history stay completely private and secure on your device only.
How are invoice numbers generated?
The tool auto-generates random 8-digit invoice numbers in format INV-12345678. Click the refresh icon to generate a new number anytime. You can also manually edit the invoice number to match your preferred numbering system or format.
Is my data safe and secure?
Yes, absolutely! This tool runs entirely in your browser. All data processing happens locally on your device - nothing is uploaded to our servers. Your files and data never leave your computer, ensuring complete privacy and security.
